Inglis Falls in Owen Sound, Ontario
A short nature film highlighting one of Grey County's most popular scenic destinations
Inglis falls was one of the first places I remember being brought to visit on my first time to Owen Sound. It seemed to be only fitting that I made a short video to highlight the natural beauty of the area some years later. All the footage was captured on a single visit to the park.
Very shortly before this video, I bought a Glidecam HD-2000 for flying my Canon 6D camera, and that was part of my motivation for making this short film. It was shot entirely on the Canon 6D with a 17-40mm f/4L Lens. I edited it in Final Cut Pro X. Like so many of my other short films, I used free music obtained from the free music archive, and this particular track is by Kai Engel. One thing somewhat unique about this video compared to my others, is I mixed in some foley - most of the sounds of waterfall and nature were added to the edit from a sound effect library.
